MacGnG's technique is right, they are called pelvic floor exercises. Rythmically tensing and releasing these muscles, the PK muscles, will make them stronger and more controllable, as with any other muscle.

Breathing also helps, big, long, deep breaths can quickly bring a chap back from the point of orgasm.
