Well, this thread was my inspiration today, and thanks to the humbling advice and insight of some of you guys, I just owned up to being a stubborn kid who made a bad decision. The general manager took my side as I
was asked whether I
wanted to do something and just said no (to drugs too
). Honestly, there are times to stand up and stick by your guns, but there are times to swallow your pride and be humble. This is one of those times. Admit it was your fault, and discuss possible solutions. It's a rough market, and you may find that's your only job opportunity available right now.
