i'm a little frustrated with this question. i have a computer with internet access at my desk and i do use that access on a very regular basis (finding shipping rates to charge customers, arranging freight pickups, so on and so forth...), but when my "supervisor" (not really a sup, but the guy who hired me and therefore is responsible for me) found me checking out a couple of things linked off of
mefi, he suggested i make better use of my time. this aggrivates me. when i go into his office during his downtime he's surfing rush limbaugh's site. the service manager spends a great deal of time searching ebay for classic cars, and the shop foreman is constantly checking the airline sites for rates to his next dream destination. is this fair? i don't know. is this frustrating? incredibly. can i do any damn thing about it? nope. one of the many "perks" of being the new guy.
