Yup, you screwed up.
Give it a couple of days, show back up at the place, admit you were wrong, offer to pay for the damages, promise you will be more careful, and respectfully ask for your job back.
Then actually do those things.
If you don't get it back, then you don't get it back. But hold your head up like a man as you go. You tried to do the honorable thing.
