Actually dirtbagceo is right, except for the rusting part..... razors dull from oxidation and calcification, Evaporating water leaves calcium and other mineral deposits that dull the blade.... by spraying with pam or what I do, putting my razor in a glass with about a inch of minerel oil when I'm done shaving.... prevents oxidation.
