in reading a bio of alan greenspan, he apparently went to Clinton after he was elected, and tried to see what kind of a president he would be... Clinton asked "how do i get a strong economy?"
Greenspan's response was simple 101 econ-balance the budget as much as you can. Wall Street loves fiscal responsibility, and the loan market will promote long term growth if the federal government isn't crowding out companies by borrowing so much money.
I wish GWB would have the same talk with greenspan...this reaganomics shit would be blown out of his head forever.
