my wife and i usually stay/vacation in san luis obispo for 3-4 days at least once a year. (we live in so cal and it's a quick change of pace)

now that our son is two and a half we thought maybe it would be better to stay somewhere near the beach and just visit SLO.

has anyone stayed in cayucos or pismo? If so which do you like and do you recommend anywhere in particular to stay. We want to spend between 120-180 a night. breakfast included would be cool.

ps i don't know if it's okay to turn tilted living into an epinion/travel req board so i just thought i would float it. apologies to all if it's not tilted enough.
