Let's pick something that's not so controversial (read: black) Yakov Smirnoff talking about russians?
I'm sure that it's been like that from the beginning of time. People do funny things. People relate stories of those funny things. I remember someone doing a study on humor and found that each culture had their verson of stereotype jokes. Why? Because it's humor dealing with sterotype and difference. Plain and simple.
Truly the question isn't about race, but about what humor is. Is something funny only at the expense of someone else? I think I posted that in v.3 but don't remember any replies.
