Im the same rogerd, i wear armoured jacket, pants, gloves, full helmet all the time.
Can be a pain when going to a function but, id sooner be hot for an hour then go through the procedure for removing gravel from my body. I guess i just really like my skin, the way it is, all attached to me and stuff.
Keep the shiny side up.
