Sabotagee

This may be weird, but I'm in a comedy sketch class, and as I get more and more into it, I'll need to come up with fresh, new ideas. Sometimes, they may just not be funny, and sometimes they may just be too weird.

The reason for this post is that recently, we had to come to class with 2 ideas for our sketch to be written the following week. I read the one I liked, and it received mediocre response. Then, as an afterthought, I read the one all the other people I spoke to liked. That, naturally, was the winner.

So, I can generate the ideas and sketches, but I apparently don't know a good one when I see it.

My suggestion - post ideas or things that need working out. Say you have an idea for a short story about a guy with a stick in his arm. But, you're stuck. Maybe in this brainstorm thread, people could bounce ideas back. Anyway, it's a suggestion, just seeing if there's interest. (Maybe there's already a thread like this, and if so, I should be beaten).
