That's probably the last sign you want to rely on for symptoms of pregnancy especially if you will want to abort. There are signs that comes much earlier that are just as obvious as a big belly... like morning sickness for instance. Kinda hard to overlook that symptom.

6-8 weeks for signs of "growing" is like 2/3 into the first trimester... and optimal abortions happen early in the first trimester. Doesn't really give you much time, does it?
