Falling while climbing. Once took a backwards swan dive while 800 ft. off the Yosemite valley floor. A piece popped and I fell about 40 feet before hitting the end of the rope hanging upside down. All my gear was hanging around my head and the whole world was spinning around underneath me.
That wasn't the scary part. The scary part was I HAD to go back up and climb that section again, this time knowing that I could fall.
