Went to dinner downtown Riyadh, SA. On the drive back to the embassy, a huge crowd of people started rushing out of buildings, screaming an waving flags and generally looking like a riot, just ran over some feet and bumped a few arabs pretty hard with the bumper of the blazer. Got back to find out that the SA soccer team had just beaten the Iraqi team and they were just celebrating. I thought my young white ass was through.
