 If and when Burton does it I hope he doesn't just remake the film, but goes for the darker, edgier book version.

 What is so unique about this movie is the question of it being classified as a childrens movie. Movies like this and Alice in Wonderland are in a zip code of their own. 
The images behind them when this is being shouted out, throws it being a kid movie out the window.
