Hasn't that journalist heard about walking a mile in another person's shoes? What on earth would make him 1. write an article without even talking to its subject? 2. assume that ANY mother would rather be deployed in Afghanistan than be home with her 3-year-old son?
People like that give us peaceniks a bad name.
