You just can't create mathematical problems with infinity, infinity cannot be added to an equation; in both problems A and B you substract from infinity, you juste can't do that.
OK, let's suppose you forgot and this is a totally HYPOTHETICAL problem:
-Problem A; infinity-infinity then you would amount to 0
-Prblem B; infinity*9/10 then you would still amount to infinity
