Just a suggestion, astroglide may be great, but I find that olive oil is great, natural, inexpensive and should be in every kitchen (at least one where there is someone enjoys cooking). What other oil's are prevalent and usable? Probably many.
It's like buying drinking water when the tap may be just fine and sometimes its the same source as what we are buying. Who convinced us to buy water anyway .... uh ... the French? (yes, I know that tap is not always 'fine' but it's usually ok).
Back to the thread, anal can be great .... touch, finger entry, intercourse ... oh and yes licking when very clean is fine too. There is a bit of spice that lingers on the tongue. After a shower or a hot tub anything goes.
Once had a lover that craved it. The experience was so complete, there was nothing off limits. Often was just touching and/or fingering, but everthing was involved and it was good. Miss her.
