Dude, basically the only tennis shoes I wear are white K-Swiss's, and they get dirty really easy. But I can ressurrect them. Buy a toothbrush or use an old one, and dip it in bleach, and scrub the HELL out of em. It's tedious stuff, no doubt, but it always gets em clean for me.
Also, you said your shoes have color in them, so be very careful, which goes without saying.
