Nothing wrong with not wanting a 'serious' relationship. At 18, U.S. culture considers you young, which isn't a stage at which serious relationships are a good idea.
But really, all that matters on this is how you feel and how she feels. It's hard to fault you as long as you're being honest and caring. Not that the world will reward you for it.
