Ghost World, starring Thora Birch (American Beauty), Scarlett Johansson and Steve Buschemi. Brilliant film, based on a graphic novel by Daniel Clowes.
Its about two girls who are best friends, who finsih high school, and basically don't know what to do with themselves, and as they begin to face the real world, and not realise their high school dream, their friendship starts to disintegrate.
Very good stuff; very well scripted, and well acted.

(Oh and good call on Midnight run.....that film was hilarious!)
