Had a similar situation in my programming class. As the year went on the teacher started letting us get away with more and more. We've had Quake 2 lans and once we even loaded up Postal 2 in there granted it ran like shit. Sometimes its nice having a lazy teacher. Harder to learn but after you do get away with a lot.
