The people that make Divx came out with a really good encoder called Dr.Divx. It's ridiculously easy to use and has encoded everything I could throw at it wonderfully.

The only downside is the 15 day trial, but at least you get to try it for free. You can get it at their website, www.divx.com, they're be Dr.Divx banners everywhere, can't miss it.
