Zeppelin's influence is more apparent in modern music, since Blues/Rock isn't all that prevalent compared to Hard Rock. Don't get me wrong they were both Blues/Rock but Zeppelin was defenitely pushing into Heavy Metal.

call me crazy, but as long as I've been listening to zeppelin I've failed to see how they were "heavy" metal at all, or even really metal for that matter.........
