My Moment is the Summer Sunset
Pause, and take a deep breath;
for it stirs the warmth inside...
And that comfort flows through you,
Like a river rising above its banks.
If we have the patience to remain
Silent and still for one second,
Then that warmth will bring us
Peace.
That brief pause is just enough,
to see grandeur in everything.
No matter how fast life moves,
No matter how soon time is past,
You may live your entire day
In such a solitary, relaxing,
Breath.
My moment is the summer sunset,
Truthfully, taking but a few minutes.
Yet in my attentive eyes,
Motionless body, and sighing soul,
The day disappears, and calmness
Out-steps it's boundaries to fill
What work too frequently invades:
Serenity.
