This whole question needs to be re-asked... Are we talking about how mankind IS, or how mankind BEHAVES? Because I say those are very different things.
I believe that EVERY human being is magnificent, perfect, whole, and complete in every possible way.
I also believe that EVERY human being has barriers that prevent the expression and the experience of that magnificence, perfection, wholeness, and completeness.
I don't believe this because I have evidence for it. I believe this because it empowers me to believe it. It gives me an ennobling place to stand in relation to other people. This is what I'm standing for from humanity and from individuals--people defined not by their barriers but by their perfection.
