Well from what I talked to with GF and those on the bnet forums.. in chat.. and from the updates say..
They went in and totally remade the game source code.. Thus this way they can find any and all dupes, hacks, iths and such..
all those ebay sites... and paypal sites selling items and spamming in the channels.. those are the first to go.. (sighs finally)
they use a irc program like mirc to get on to the diablo channels and spam.. why you cant block them or squelch them unless you click on them.. you can tell cuz no matter how you type thier name you cant squelch them..
The bots can be found easy this way.. why.. cuz each game before entering you can see stats of those in supposedly.. bots tend to make a game 60%-85% faster than the fastest manual load person doing it. After about 200 games.. its real easy to find a botter.
They are making a word filter in channel.. you flag too many times your "tagged" for inspection. Also they are makeing it so they can track an ip.. that way they can use the ip to see every cdkey used.. yeah i know proxies.. but still....
the patch would be nice.. but I wont hold my breath.. they have to many games out or coming out ... soon to worry about the patch.
