I like to install Win XP Pro, then strip out all the eye candy. So it runs just about as quick as Win2k, but with more up-to-date driver support

XP Pro's Remote connection is great too - I can control my XP box from my Mac PowerBook in the next room without a hitch at all!

There's not much between 2k and XP anyway IMHO. At work I'm still using NT4 - and even that's better than most of the company - they are still on Win95!!!
