I'm so torn on this subject

I like Link and Spawn, but I loathe the GameCube's controller layout, and the Xbox isn't much better for fighters (I love the original controller for FPSes like Halo though). I absolutely love the PS2 controller however, and think Heihachi is the dumbest idea for a secret character. I'd rather Crash Bandicoot was playable than Heihachi. I've heard of a mystical aparatus that would let me use a PS2 controller for other systems though, which if true opens a world of possibilities... Anyone know more about it who can provide some kind of link? Cause that's the deciding factor for me really.
