When I was a kid I cut a master lock open to see how it worked, and found out that the part that slips into the notch of the shackle dosen't really lock..... it just snaps shut and the key simply moves it back when you open the lock. Just a well aimed shot with a hammer to the right spot and a downward yank pops them open every time.......
