Reminds of when I did something similar though. I had a customer walk in to my store with one of those large round American brand locks. They look like they'd resist an anti-tank round. His key wasn't working to well and he wanted to know what to do. Without a boring lecture lets just say that the lock mech. is actually really simple to defeat in spite of how it looks.

I told him the key was probably worn, but lets see if the lock is working in the first place. I took a pick and in/out/click! That fast.
doesn't always work that way, but this time it did.

He started sputtering and said "but then what is the use of having a lock" I sold him a better one instead. Not what I had intended, but it worked out well.
