Well, I can say that the prologue just provides a little background and creates an opening for the story (like most prologues should.)

Having said that, I'll also say that the actual storyline of the first book takes place 20 years later, which is where the first chapter starts. I'm a little unsure about posting the first chapter because of a key event that happens. But I will say that Gary and Jane are married and have a ten year old son, John. And they are living in a city on the moon.
