Vinoh lets out a sigh of relief. Even though his efforts had not yielded noticeable results, Gell and D'Aleen seemed to have come through. Looking nervously towards the ceiling at the settling mass of bats, Vinoh makes his way to Father Quadrial and the elven druid. He puts his club away and rests his free hand on D'Aleen's shoulder.
"Thank you D'Aleen. You risked much by doing what you just did, but your strength helped us all. I'm glad to have you on our side."
Looking once again at the ceiling, the mind mage shares a concern:
"It would seem as if these bats become more violent and agitated as a reaction to violence and agitation. D'Aleen's bolt of light must have excited them and the ensuing melee just prompted more of them to join in the fray. I guess our best plan is to quietly move to the next room.
Perhaps the blue veil is just a trigger, a way for whomever inhabits this place to know when intruders come through here. If this is so, then I'm afraid we are in for more trouble. If not, then I don't know what to make of it.
In any case, I think I'll inspect the coffins we just opened before moving on. I wouldn't want to miss anything!"
Vinoh then makes his way back to the coffin he opened. He inspects the skeleton and the interior thoroughly, looking for anything unusual.
