Also have a bit of a soft spot for Liverpool myself. Lived in Chorley for a while not to far from Liverpool. Dalglish and Rush were my heroes at the time.
I hear in the man utd shops people were knocking over his statue (cardboard) and saying we wont need that anymore. It is true they worship him and now he is gone cant stand him. Some fans anyway, It would make my year if man utd came up against Real again in Europe.
