I think I'll post the first response from Dear Old England. (why do we always say that?)

Born, Bred, Educated and Working in Liverpool, the REAL Capital of England.

Actually, we've just been voted European Capital of Culture for the year 2008, so I expect there will be a lot going on between now and then.

And before anybody starts Scouser bashing - DON'T

I've heard them all, so don't waste your typing skills.

I am passionately proud to be a Scouser. Always have been, always will be.
