Zut, actually. Also try "sacre bleu!" Although it means "sacred blue", it bears more or less the same meaning as "god damn it!"

Cochate un perro, puta. Spanish is my first language so I should know

Okoi pai. About two weeks ago this became a favorite saying amongst me and my friends

And now one of my own: Con una chinga, hijo de su pinchi chingada puta madre cabron.

Thats the scariest thing in the world, man. Still sends chills down my spine. What does it mean? "With a hard smack, son of your pinchi chingada mother male goat."

Ok, ok, so it makes absolutely no sense in English, and I left "pinchi chingada" in Spanish because you can't really translate that too well into English. But, trust me, any kid who hears his dad scream this at the top of his lungs will automatically take a shit where he stands.

Funny thing about french (French-Canadian, at least) swears is that they're more derived from religion than bodily functions.

Tabernacle (pronounced without the 'le'), closest to shit or damn in use. I've also heard "Tabersmack", which is just funny, and taberouette (prounounced 'taber-wet'), which I don't understand.

Calisse (sp?) From 'chalice', specifically, the cup that Jesus drank from... don't say it in front of your grandmother, although 'shit' and 'fuck' seem to work their way into normal conversation. You can say "C'est tout fucke" (don't know how to put an accent on the last 'e') to say "It's all fucked up" without being obsene.

Stiltzkin : Isn't chingada Spanish for fuck?

Which reminds me of my favorite spanish insult "Me caro en su cara" or "I shit in your face"

Oh yeah.. Malaka (sp?) Lebanese for motherfucker.
