If you check out a lot of "straight" lesbian porn--lesbian porn for the straight male audience--there's a lot of penis replacement going on. Frequently there's a sense they're waiting for a man to come along and relieve them of their sexual frustrations. Women in movies for men don't have orgasms with other women, if they ever do at all. They're clearly playing to every man's (ahem) fantasy of being with two women at once.
I can't really say how this might be different from porn made for a lesbian audience, but my hunch is that it would be different.
