There was this Nerf multiplayer action "shooter" game that came out a couple years ago. Uses Quake 3 engine, and instead of shooting rocket launchers and chain guns you shoot different nerf toys at each other. No one dies or anything.
It's not a mod it's an actual game, I don't think it sold many copies because it was a pretty stupid concept but I'm sure you could find it somewhere. For some reason every MP game out there today centeres around violence
