I don't get sad, but I see my ex's face in some strangers and I swear it's her until I thoroughly check again. It's very off-putting.
My advice is to do something distracting, to change your state of mind, and if that's not succesful, have a few drinks.
The tricky part is to do so while not thinking about her.
You'll be fine though, SF, you're a pretty tough guy.
