I was driving home one day, and came off the dual carrigeway onto the slip road heading for lights and a roundabout. As I came down the slip road, a voice at my right shoulder said 'watch out for the trailer'. As I went through the lights and under the flyover to the next set, I saw a landrover with a sail boat on a trailer in the lane going straight ahead, so being smart I went the next lane over - ahead and right traffic. Waiting for the lights to change, in the left lane which I would have gone in was a lorry. I was indicating before the lights change. Turning off (straight ahead), I glanced to my left and saw the lorry coming straight for the side of my car. I floored it - his radiator was only a couple of feet from the side of my car. He hit me, but if I had not floored the car, it would have been worse for me and my little fiesta. So not a voice in my head, but at my shoulder. Anyone else have such warnings?
