My algebraic tutoring stories is limited to just the one, and it was quite long ago, embarassing, & had to be capped off with my earnest yet idotic statement of "we just got paid". youth. i want you back.

I just looked at Jet's link above and found this word problem:

How many quarts of pure antifreeze should Mr. Alberts add to 10 quarts of a 20% antifreeze solution to make a 50% antifreeze solution?
at least 10 more quarts..?

10 20 50 quarts ... my answer shall be 15 quarts. I probably used math to figure this out, but my deductive reasoning skills in life are likely more advanced than any mathematical ones I still have left.
