I'm pretty damn good with algebra...now. Back when I was first learning it, it was a struggle. But then it must have fermented in my brain and suddenly I realized it was flowing like second nature...or first nature, if you prefer. I almost always help my two high school aged boys with their math homework. When I was much younger, I enjoyed tutoring cute girls who needed help with math.
I just looked at Jet's link above and found this word problem:
How many quarts of pure antifreeze should Mr. Alberts add to 10 quarts of a 20% antifreeze solution to make a 50% antifreeze solution?
