Yes, I have to be precise in picking and exposing the moment, but after that, I am in 'frozen time' rather than real-time. I am in Photoshop, able to take breaks whenever I choose, and the final product can be presented regardless of how I feel at the time. "There it is - have a look" gives me the joy of sharing, delivering the goods without my needing my motor to be running at full pelt.
Eg, I'm not a happy bunny today, because I've got a badly sprained ankle, sore throat, and Game of Thrones has finished its first series. But I can still go, "There it is - have a look".
