Actually, I don't like this pic too much but it's worth posting:
This pic was taken fairly close to the entrance, where the crowds tend to linger.
We were able to get some privacy due to the sheer size of the City- reportedly there are 9,000+ "rooms", so the deeper you go into the City, the fewer people you will encounter.
As far as being "Disneyfied", I understand there was a Starbucks coffee inside the City at one point, but was eventually eliminated, thankfully.
