If you're using the default "green" skin, then you'll see two boxes in the lower right of every post on the board - "quote" and "quote +". Clicking on the "quote +" button will highlight that button but do nothing more inandof itself. You can click multiple ones if you'd like. If you click the "quote" button, you're taken to the "advanced reply" page automatically with the quoted text already embedded in the reply box. If you clicked any "quote +" for other quotes beforehand, those will be included as well.
Let me know if you're using other skins because the buttons are in other spots.
As it stands, it's difficult tell what's your original text and when you're quoting someone. You're going to be taken a lot more seriously if you learn to use those kinds of basic features. Not using them will just encourage folks to gratually stop reading your posts because you're making them work harder. That's human nature at work.

The more I think about this, the more I'm concerned for those kids. Clearly something's seriously wrong, and it appears she's already lost custody of two others. OP, you might want to get the authorities involved and petition for custody.
