I just have one ear pierced. Had it since high school, back around 1990. I like it a lot. I sometimes think about getting the other ear pierced, but that's about it. I might consider a ring through the cartilege higher up on the ear, but to be honest, I'm a bit of a wuss about fear of the pain.
I like a few earrings on a woman, and I don't mind a discreet stud in the nose. Belly button piercings are also OK, as long as they're simple. I could probably take it if I were with a girl who had small nipple piercings, although to me, it always seemed a little crazy to deliberately pierce things that we would otherwise go to great lengths to keep from even being hit, let alone stabbed or cut.
But I have to admit, I don't care for many other piercings. Most other facial piercings look kind of ridiculous to me. Usually when I see someone with a lot of facial piercings, my initial assumption is that there goes a person who is seeking very hard to get attention. And genital piercings just freak me out.
I guess I just think the body is supposed to be ornamented a little, at most; it doesn't need much in the way of intrusive modification.
