I'm sure this thread has existed before, but there doesn't seem to be a recent one.

I have become totally addicted to watching tv shows on Netflix, either streaming (when available) or disc by mail. I watch far more tv shows than movies these days. I realize when watching them that most television dramas are really just glorified soap operas - with better themes, less shlock and the triumvirate of adult programming: sex, drugs and (luckily) many profligate and creative uses for profanity.

What I watch now:

Mad Men
Weeds
Big Love
The Wire
Californication
The X-Files (less devotedly, but have made it to the middle of season 3)

What I was watching and stopped but would like to go back to one day:
Star Trek: The Next Generation
30 Rock

What I have watched from beginning to end:
The Sopranos
Six Feet Under
Sex and the City
Lost (the only show I've been significantly disappointed by)

Project Runway
American Pickers
