The gay guys I knew all had a preference when it came down to a good ol' fashioned yogurt throwing contests. They were either top or bottom in various degrees. This guy might be a strict top or the other guy could go either way. Kinda like eating pussy; some guys love it, some guys hate it and some guys will only do it if the favor is returned.
I asked the same question one night to a friend of mine and he told that if two tops got together, they wouldn't fuck. I guess in the long run, it depends on the couple.
If we are talking personalities, that's a whole different ball game.
