It tastes awful to me, but I recall the babies liked it. :shudder:
As far as my opinion goes, I'm a meat eater and have raised my family that way; however, I think that there are proteins that are sufficient in the legume families. I'm bothered that the State or any governing agency could step in and issue a dietary requirement. Parents wanting to adopt kids have to go through such stringent background checks that their dietary choices must absolutely be trusted. Educate them, if need be.
If they can support the child, are in good health mentally and physically and have proven that they want to give that support and love to a child, give the child to that loving home.
