Good question.

Apparently Gerber baby food is mainly fruit and vegetables, but they have what they call "2nd foods" for babies 6 to 18 months. Within that category is "Dinners," which includes grains, pasta, and meat.

It's a kind of weaning kids onto those foods I guess. I think it's kind of like a meat and vegetable stew...but pureed.
