Believe it or not, I do know the difference between the moon and the sun, but this suddenly reminded me of Big Red Sun and since I have little or no self-control and I've been accused of being a lunatic, I'll post this so you can listen to Lucinda who I'm dearly in love with and just waiting until we meet in person one day to kiss her and marry her for a moon cycle or two, while you look at the Super Moon below.
ESO staff member Gordon Gillet welcomed the new day by capturing this stunning image from 14 km away, on the road to the nearby Cerro Armazones, the peak recently chosen by the ESO Council as the preferred location for the planned 42-metre European Extremely Large Telescope (E-ELT).
